A royal biographer has accused Meghan Markle of bringing her own style to the monarchy.Anna Pasternak, who is the author of The Real Wallis Simpson, said Meghan cannot live like a Hollywood star now that she is in the Royal family.
Anna Pasternak appeared on Yahoo’s latest episode of The Royal Box where she aired her views about Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, a former U.S actress.
Speaking on the weekly online series Anna(pictured above) said: “I think what Meghan has got to realise is that she cannot live life in the royal family like an a-list Hollywood star and that within the monarchy it demands a very different set of behaviours.”
She continued: “She doesn’t understand that she cannot be this international star on this global stage, that is the Queen then Charles then William and Kate, they have to be the stars that’s what ensures continuity in the monarchy.
“The house of Windsor has done incredibly well to stay together when many other European royal houses have collapsed and they’ve done it because they recognise who has to be the main event.
“She seems to want to bring her own style into the monarchy and I don’t think that’s appropriate and I don’t think it’s going to work long term.

POOR TASTE
Anna went on to criticise pregnant’s Meghan’s New York baby shower, as being in ‘poor taste’, considering the current economical climate.
She said: “I thought that was in very poor taste actually when the country is in a state of extreme anxiety and flux and many people are suffering financially I think you can’t have it both ways.
“I don’t think you can on the one hand say to people save the planet save plastic and then be revving up a massive carbon footprint going for a lavish baby shower in New York. I don’t think it looks good and I don’t think it’s appropriate.” Her comments presents Meghan as a flashy woman trying to shine in the Royal family. She went on to express her views that rumours of a rift between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton were ”undoubtedly true” .
None of the rumours about a rift between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton has ever been supported by the royal family, although they would be unlikely to confirm the truth or falsity of the rumours. The book comes at a bad time for Meghan, who is expecting a baby this spring, and doesn’t need to be hearing things like this with the birth of her baby so close.
Meanwhile, Ann Pasternak went on to discuss her admiration for Kate Middleton and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall for ‘adhering’ to royal rules.
The release of the book comes only a few months after Hello Magazine launched a kindness campaign in response to abuse from internet trolls against the Dutchess of Sussex.
