Melbourne had been visiting her boyfriend at the time of the shooting . Forensic officers removed bullets lodged in a wall and a front window of terraced homes in Tottenham, north London. When officers attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The girl appears to have been caught up in a cross fire between two rival groups, but cops are still investigating whether she had any connection to the group of boys, and who the gang were. So far, inquiries by the detectives have been met by a wall of silence, but they will be doubling their efforts in this murder inquiry which has brought the total number of deaths in London this year to 48 already.
