A row developed between a free lance photographer and one of the managers of Westfield Casino in East London.
The photographer had attempted to take a picture of punter who won 15,000 pounds on one of the gambling machines, after starting with just five pounds.
Gamblers often come together in casinos all over the country, especially in weekends. Many loose hundreds of pounds, even thousands in some cases.
The photographer attempted to take a picture of the happy Chinese punter, but was confronted by a female manger who insisted that pictures could not be taken in the Casino.
The photographer insisted that the winning punter should definitely be given a choice on whether he could be photographed and have his story told.
However, the manageress engaged the photographer in a resilient debate over the issue, insisting that no pictures could be taken of winners inside the casino.
SEARCH
The photographer had visited the casino in search of any big wins, purchasing food and drinks whilst observing tables where Roulette, black jack and other gamble’s are played.
Westfield Casino in Stratford is frequented by many well off gamblers, many of whom win and loose big.
The big win came from one of the machines, as a small crowd gathered to observe he big win.
But the photographer, who insisted on not being named said he was prevented from taking pictures of the big winner as his cash was counted for him.
He told the eye of media. com ” I thought it would have been a good opportunity for promo for the casino, but I guess they saw it differently”.
The eye of media.com did not approach the casino for a comment in order not to draw attention to the photographer or this writer in any future event of revisiting the place.
