West Yorkshire Police officer has been charged with sexual assault and outraging public decency.
Barely 24 hours after news horrified the nation about the multiple rape offences committed by Derek Carrick. The West Yorkshire Police Force revealed in a statement today that PC Lee Parker, 40, who is based at Operational Support has been charged with two counts of sexual assault on a female and one count of outraging public decency.
The force added the charges relate to an off-duty incident, clarifying that the alleged offence did not take place while on duty.
West Yorkshire Police told The Eye Of Media.Com that it could not yet disclose the details of the offence, revealing only that PC parker is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 19.
He was suspended from duty at the commencement of the investigation, West Yorkshire Police said.
