By Eric King-

West Midland Police are appealing for information to catch a couple of thugs who viciously  attacked a taxi driver in his cab in Sheldon.

The criminal pair mercilessly attacked the cab driver but are still at large after the horrifying attack. The two suspects by now would believe they got away with the crime as do most criminals, until they are caught. The chances are high that they bragged about it to someone. Police want information about the two suspects (pictured) as the cab driver remains scarred both physically and mentally.

After both men became rowdy in the car, the cab driver decided to pull up by Travel lodge in Coventry road and wanted the pair out of the car.  One of the thugs then  grabbed the cab driver around the neck and bit his left  ear, forcing the driver to get out of the car.by Travel lodge in Coventry Road, Sheldon.  Adding to the already terrible assault, a second man then took a steering wheel from the boot and hit the driver on the head, hospitalising him in the process.

The crime which occurred on August 24 at around 11pm has still not resulted in an arrest. Explaining the delay in asking for public help, West Midland Police told The Eye Of Media.Com that they usually exhaust all avenues of investigations, including sometimes going through trolls of CCTV cameras before going public with this kind of offence.
