22 people have been killed in a suspected terrorist attack in Manchester arena.
The bomb exploded outside the foyer outside the arena around 10.30 p.m on Monday night, where a teen concert was taking place. Children are among the dead.
Fans had gathered to see their hero, Ariana perform, none could have possibly foreseen this dreadful event. Witnesses claimed to have heard a loud explosive bang before revelers fled for their lives.
The attacker killed himself in the explosion, leading police to conclude this to be a terrorist attack. Whether the lone suicide bomber was acting alone or as part of the group is yet to be established.
INVESTIGATION
The investigation has only just started. Britain has been on high alert ever since the lone terrorist attack in Westminster. This one was not expected, despite the official notice that an attack was very likely any time.
With this attack, the public will not have to be very aware of the potential of an attack anytime, but the British public will stand in defiance and not be moved.
