Donald Trump May Win U.S Elections After Polls Reveal 1 Point Lead

 By Ben Kerrigan-

Donald Trump may win the U.S elections after recent polls showed a tight race between the republican and Hillary Clinton. a slim lead over Donald Trump, a new national poll shows.

An ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll released on Sunday showed Clinton ahead 46% to 45% — narrower than Saturday’s 2-point Clinton edge.
Up until yesterday, Hilary Clinton had lost her 12 points leads to a 6 point leads, that gap narrowing overnight and giving Clinton just a 1 point lead. In CNN’s Poll of Polls, which averages results for the five most recently released national surveys, Clinton has a 47% to 42% advantage over Trump. That’s unchanged from the most recent Poll of Polls on Saturday.
The polls suggest that undecided voters may have indeed been influenced by the recent revelations that the FBI will be again investigating her emails. It is unlikely that Hilary Clinton’s supporters will turn their backs on her at this last moment, but even that is not impossible. A lot depends on how some of them respond to outside influence to shift their position.

POLL

The ABC/Washington Post poll found that more than 6 in 10 voters say the news that the FBI is investigating newly discovered emails that could be related to Hillary Clinton’s private server will make no difference in their vote, while 3 in 10 say it makes them less likely to back Clinton.
Sunday morning also shows that many undecided voters have likely been influenced by the latest revelation from the FBI that Clinton was again to be investigated over emails. The fact these emails relate to allegations that her
In North Carolina, an NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist University poll found Clinton ahead, 47% to Trump’s 41%. The same poll found Clinton ahead 48% to 43% in early October.
ONE POINT LEAD
The overall one point lead is roughly reflected in a  separate poll in Florida, an NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist University survey shows a tight race- with Clinton at 45% and Trump at 44%, a one-point drop for Clinton when compared with the same poll’s last results in early October, when Clinton led 46% to 44%.
Meanwhile, a New York Times Upshot/Siena poll found Trump ahead — 46% to 42% — in Florida. The same poll had found the candidates even at 43% apiece in September.
TRUMP GAINS ADVANTAGE
Trump may have gained an advantage as a result of this fresh news and potential blow to Clinton’s previously dominant campaign, though there are commentators and writers who doubt this will happen.
If Trump wins the U.S elections, it would be a remarkable reversal from the  political situation only a week ago. The recent announcement by the FBI has certainly prejudiced the elections but may have done so for good reason. Clinton appears to be the more mature and suitable candidate for president, but if there are serious issues that compromise her suitability, America may just have to settle for Donald Trump with all his weaknesses. Clinton may be able to rubbish this advantage if she delivers a powerful message to play down the latest FBI news about the email investigation.
The FBI have officially got the warrant needed to begin the email investigation, and are already on the job. There are said to be over 650,000 emails for them to go through, meaning that the investigation will continue even after the elections. At least the FBI will be able to give us a summary of what they found in the days running up to the elections. Any negative information there will only further smear her campaign.
The American public is fully informed about both candidates and their policies. The tight one lead gap between Trump and Clinton in the recent polls with just over a week to go makes it possible for Donald Trump may win these elections against all the odds. His team will be gaining alot of confidence as a result of this fresh advantage handed over to him so late in the elections.
The new one lead gap raises frightening prospects for the Clinton campaign, who have generally had the support of the media in the face of the several misdemeanours of Donald Trump exposed to the world. Clinton’s email scandal initially put a sour cloud over her campaign but had been shaken off by her relatively better performance than Donald Trump in the televised debate after the FBI announced no plans to press any charges.
The unprecedented decision of the FBI to release this news so close to the elections could be decisive in the historic elections.Trump will consider himself one of the luckiest candidates of an American election. There have been internal disputes at the FBI in addition to a dispute between the FBI and the justice secretary over the sudden and unprecedented announcement of the email investigations of Hilary Clinton. The FBI are not expected to be seen to be meddling in American elections, which is what makes the new development strange.
The fact that Donald Trump may still win these elections is a frightening prospect for Clinton’s campaign, and Clinton will lose sleep until and unless the FBI assure the public that the emails contain nothing significant in it.
