Donald Trump Will Not Accept Election Results If Hillary Clinton Wins

By Aaron Miller-

Donald Trump will not accept defeat in the coming U.S elections, he hinted during the third and final debate with Hillary Clinton.

The man widely described by the media and commentators as a demagogue is already getting his excuses in early.

The Republican candidate, who has been heavily criticised for his reckless words and lewd comments about women, looks a looser for these elections. However, Trump is not looking to lose with dignity, and leave the scene to Hillary Clinton, if she wins as she is expected to.

When asked if he would accept the result of the election, Trump replied;

” I will look at the time, he replied. What I’ve seen, what I’ve seen is so bad. First of all, the media is so bad and so corrupt, and the pile on is so amazing. ” They’ve poisoned the minds of voters, and unfortunately for them, I think the voters are seeing through it”, he responded.

Donald Trump: “I will tell you at the time”

trumpWhen pressed by the moderator to confirm whether he will not commit to the principle of accepting the results of the election, he replied ”what I’m saying is I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense”. Clinton called it appalling, though it became more obvious throughout the debate that Clinton is better equipped for the presidential post. Trump seems to lack both confidence and great ideas. A presidential hopeful should have more in their intellectual locker.

The billionaire mogul who made his fortune after building a real estate business set up by his father does not measure up mentally as he does financially. He offered little on the topic of abortion and was thoroughly beaten by an own goal when he presented a flawed reasoning on abortion.

”Based on what she is saying and where she is going, and where she’s been, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month, on the final day. That’s not acceptable”, Trump said.

Clinton’s response:

However, Clinton quickly and easily rubbished Trump’s ill-informed statement, by pointing out that late abortions were rare. ”Using that kind of scare rhetoric is just simply unfortunate”, Clinton said of her opponent. This is one of the worst possible choices that any woman and her family have to make, and I don’t believe the government should be making it.

I can tell you that the government has no business in the decisions that women make with their families in accordance with their rights, and I will stand for that right”, Clinton stated.

The one gap that Trump allowed Clinton to escape, whether she was still in support of abortion on the rare occasions of late abortions, and what reasons she would present to support her views on those occasions. That chance was missed and would have been interesting to hear how Clinton addressed the question. As things stand, the most unacceptable fact is Donald Trump’s tendency not to accept the election results next month.

Clinton and trump on abortion:

trumpClinton’s position on abortion makes her an easy choice for most women in America when it comes to voting. Trump’s lewd comments revealed in the exposed tapes, added to his views to restrict their rights on abortion, working against him. Trump’s only weapon has always been Clinton’s foundation and the leaked emails from Wikileaks. Defending the operations of the foundation, Clinton said ”everything I did as Secretary of State was in furtherance of our country’s interests and values. ”There is no evidence of special handling for donors, but a lot of evidence of the good work done by the organisation”

The Clinton foundation which was created in 1997, has raised from wealthy individuals, corporations and foreign agencies. The Clinton family receives no salary from the foundation which spends 80-90% of its expenditures on charitable programmes. Hillary Clinton signed a memorandum in 2008, promising transparency with respect its donors, though without revealing specifics on amounts given. The Clintons have vowed to stop taking new contributions from foreign and corporate donors if she wins the elections in November. The signs so far are that she is very likely to win these elections

With the higher performances of Clinton than Trump in these debates, the leaked tapes revealing his attitude towards women, and his fractured party having a significant number wanting him replaced as the party’s ticket holder, the signs are that Hillary Clinton is very likely to win these elections.
