CAR TRACKER MAY HAVE TRACKED DOWN TWO SUSPECTED HIGH PERFORMANCE CAR THIEVES

BY JAMES SIMOMS

West Yorkshire police have arrested two men on suspicion of robbery after several high performance car s were stolen in a number of raids in properties in Bradford, Leeds, and Kirkees.

The armed robbers who have apparently struck 6 times in 2 days have been growing bold in their confidence to intimidate home owners and steal their cars.

Police have not revealed the identity of the men whilst their investigation is still active, but confirmed that the man aged 26 and 39 respectively were held overnight in police custody. Our sources from Bradford who gave us the lead to this story confirmed the existence of a few gangs of ambitious thugs in the area who are brave enough to break into people’s houses and intimidate the occupants to disclose the whereabouts of the car keys, then tie up everyone in the house whilst they make off with any car of their taste parked in the property.

These days it is very difficult to keep a car that is stolen, but expert crooks have contacts who are skilled enough to change the particulars of cars and transform their look before shipping them abroad for good money. Owners of high performance cars are usually smart enough to have an alarm installed in their car, but all that goes once the militant thieves gain access to the keys and fob controlling the alarm.

Trackers are the safest way to track down a car thief, though not all high performance cars have trackers. It is unclear whether the suspects were tracked down because of a tracking device on the vehicle, and police have declined to disclose that information at this stage.

However, it is useful to note that a high performance car without a tracker is like moving into a house without keys. An owner of a high performance car will always be susceptible to a robbery invasion without one.

Our sources believe that the victims of the high performance cars had trackers which tracked down the thieves, though two of the victims of the car thefts declined to comment on the matter when we approached them to inquire.
