Three Charged For Murder Of Essex Teen In Dagenham

Three further people have been charged with the murder of a Romford teen outside a tube station.

Wazabakana Elenda Jordan Kukabu, known as Jordan, was found with stab injuries on Friday (5 May) outside Dagenham Heathway station at 11:47pm and died at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services.

Two teenagers who remain unnamed, 16 and 17, and 20-year-old Michael Tommy-Mgagba of Essex, have all been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

The tree will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today (May 12).

Another teen, 15, was charged on Wednesday (May 10) with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon and will next appear at the Central Criminal Court on Monday (May 15).

Romford boy Jordan, 18, died from a single stab wound to the chest, a post-mortem found.

Barking and Dagenham councillor Michel Pongo confirmed that Jordan was his nephew.

A second man, in his 20s, was also taken to hospital with a stab injury. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.

A man, 27, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and a separate offence of violent disorder, he has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Another man, 20, was previously arrested on suspicion of murder and released with no further action. But he has also been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in relation to another incident and has been released on bail.
