Swindon Residents Asked To Check For Missing £1m Lottery Winner

By James Simons-

Swindon residents have been asked to check their hoes and belongings to confirm  they are not  the lottery millionaire not yet aware of their winnings. The million pound prize-winning National Lottery ticket  bought in Swindon  remains unclaimed, with  just little more than a week left to claim the prize.

Players are being urged to double-check their tickets to see if they could be the lucky winner of the prize from the November 9 draw. The Lotto numbers for the draw were 2, 11, 16, 46, 51, 58 and the bonus ball was 31. The ticket-holder has until Thursday May 7 to claim the prize. The request follows an original appeal from the  National Lottery to locate the winner back in November.

The call for Swindon residents to check their tickets comes as  Cameot pledged a total of £600m to Charities and organisations affected by the impact of the coronavirus outbreak in the UK . The funding will be distributed over the next few months to help projects in the UK most impacted by coronavirus, and which support some of the most vulnerable people in communities.

This includes good causes that combat loneliness and isolation, provide support for the elderly, or projects that support physical and mental health in the community, with the extensive funding packages spanning the arts, community and charity, heritage, education, environment and sports sectors.

Senior winners’ advisor Andy Carter said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old Lotto tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.” Over the years, the National Lottery has raised £40 billion for good causes with 565,000 grants made across arts, sport, heritage and community.
