Stormy Daniels dismissed defamation case against President Trump should have been so predictable by her team. Daniel’s lawyer, Avenatti has filed multiple other cases in various districts representing Clifford in connection with her alleged relationship with the president.
The defamation claimed revolved around Trump’s use of the word ”con job”, when referring to Daniels claim to have been threatened by a stranger who threatened her to keep quiet about her affair with president Trump. Trump had ridiculed her claim, stating that she was taking the press for a ride, but Daniels decided to hire lawyers to take the president to court. Those claims were bound to fail, freedom of expression has always been one of America’s most valued rights.
Daniels team was never going to be able to prove that the American president made a false statement because it wasn’t a statement whose truth or falsehood a court can verify. Stormy Daniels first defeat means she can only now look forward to her next case scheduled for December to nullify her none disclosure case in relation to a contract she made with former Trump lawyer not to reveal intimidate details of her alleged affair with President Trump.
She received £130,000 hush money not to disclose the affair, but she trashed the deal. The case for a court to legally authorize her release from the deal is futile, even if she rightly exposed the affair if it truly happened. Most members of the public believe it occurred, but Daniels has come out looking the gold digger in the whole affair. She may have exposed the possible extramarital affair of the President, and a dubious hush money deal arranged for her, but she doesn’t come out looking dignified in the whole affair.
Donald Trump is one of the most disapproved presidents in the history of the United States. He has his fan base in many quarters, but Stormy Daniels should be viewed upon negatively in the steps she took in the President’s case. She has tried to milk the affair for everything she could, but came unstuck in this case which she and her team should have seen coming.
Trump has always and will always be a polarizing figure, but he too, like all of us must be given a fair shot at justice.
