Squatters Puts Abandoned London Property On Market

Squatters broke  into an abandoned property in North West London and put the house on the market using three estate agents, after changing the locks. After gaining control of the empty bacon lane property in Brent

Ms Fakir was the victim of the intrusion of which she was  notified by Brent Council’s empty property officer, Jaqueline Connerky.  Cornesky discovered the attempt after neighbours reported the property via Brent’s Empty Property hotline.

Ms Fakir has since sold her home through the Auction House. The failed attempt was the talk of the town, as mr Fakir spoke of his shock and pani in hearing the story of what nearly happened.

” A neighbour told us that estate agents had been round. Jacqueline then called a locksmith, and the police told the estate agents what had happened.

“It was Jacqueline’s perseverance with helping me that finally brought matters to a conclusion, he said”In the end, Ms Fakir  eventually sold the house and  the new owners   are considering making an application to Brent Council  for an empty property grant allowing the town hall to house someone in need there while it’s empty.
