Saudi Kingdom To Blame General Assiri For Journalist Murder

The Saudi Kingdom are planning to  blame  the killing of dissident journalist, Jamal Khashoggi to a decorated General.  The general, Major General ahmed Al Assiri , is a highly ranked personnel in the Prince’s kingdom .

Once a spokesman for the coalition that intervened in Yemen in 2015, and was promoted to his current position last year. He is said to be bilingual and multi talented. According to reliable sources, the Saudi Kingdom planned to kidnap the journalist or questioning, but the accused General went beyond his permitted duty and committed the killing in a botched job. The is currently no official confirmation he is indeed the culprit of the murder.

Ahmed Assiri wrote for the Newyork Times, and his murder has caused huge uproar in the international community. The Saudi kingdom are under enormous pressure as a result of the killing which was intended to occur without trace.

American intelligence agencies have been very suspicious  of the involvement of Prince Mohammed to the recent killing of dissident  journalist, Jamal Khashoggi . The White House have stopped short of squarely placing the blame at the doorsteps of Saudi Arabia, but they know they very cognizant of the fact they are under the microscope.

U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, recently concluded a trip to the kingdom that failed to resolve the diplomatic crisis, but nothing conclusive emerged from the meeting. Some have criticized his friendly demeanor toward the Prince during his meeting, but Pompeo has made it clear that America is determined to get to the bottom of the killing.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman will be eager to move suspicion away from him so they can sleep well at night. American intelligence officials have expressed strong convictions that the Crown of Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia is culpable in the killing of the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The theory of a rogue killer being responsible for the killing was initially floated by president Trump, but has now been discredited by intelligence agencies who believe they have tied enough suspects to the killing. The suspects are closely associated with  the Saudi security services, military or other government ministries.

One of the suspects Maher Abdulaziz Mutreb, was a diplomat assigned to the Saudi Embassy in London in 2007 . He is known to have traveled extensively with the crown prince as a bodyguard. The crown prince and his father, King Salmon, have denied any knowledge of the killing. However, the presence of a forensic doctor who specializes in autopsies has worsened suspicions that the assassination was premeditated and authourised by highly placed individuals in the Saudi government,

EVIDENCE

Turkish officials claim to have  evidence that a 15 Saudi agents that flew into Istanbul on Oct. 2, assassinated Mr. Khashoggi and dismembered his body with a bone saw they had brought for that purpose.  Records have also shown that two private jets chartered by a Saudi company with close ties to the Saudi crown prince and Interior Ministry arrived and left Istanbul on the day of Mr. Khashoggi’s disappearance.
