The former flatmates of 19-year-old Sally Houghton (pictured) have warned the public never to trust her
Describing her as ”sly’ and ”conniving”, two of her former flatmates say they took the decision to expose Houghton because of the dangerously reckless and self-centered life she was living, at other people’s expense.
Sally Houghton was reported to the eye of media.com for taking various sums of money from people under false pretences and refusing to pay back. Her flatmates also reported that she was selling drugs in the property. We wrote an article on her that captured a lot of interest across the country, receiving over 200 shares on Facebook alone.
On one occasion, her landlord, Steve Dixon, is said to have intervened in recouping £40 which she borrowed from the boyfriend of her flatmate, Liz.
However, Houghton made the mistake of obtaining £40 from the eye of media.com, promising to pay the money back, but eventually ceasing to respond to all calls and texts from us, after the several pleas she made for the money herself.
Her former flatmate and friend, Sophie told the eye of media.com ” I wouldn’t normally expose someone doing or selling drugs because it’s their business. But when you have a girl who risks the safety of her own child by not caring about what she does or the potential consequences, that’s a dangerous girl”.
Her other former flatmate, Liz, said ” she is a completely different person to how she seemed at first. She came across as nice and genuine but turned out to be really horrible. She is someone people should never trust.
Borrowing money without an intention of paying back is somewhat as deceptive as theft itself. People who do that without any consideration for the lender are dishonest people. It creates more.problems than it is worth. Sally Houghton brought her own shame to herself by being dishonest
