Queen Elizabeth Documentary Reveals Her Human Side

The second episode of ITV’s new documentary gives a closer look at Queen Elizabeth II.Her Royal Highness selected three of the Queen’s Young Leaders award winners to come and visit her personally at Buckingham Palace in what makes reality television. Viewers get to see the Queen’s human side. A clip in which the Queen appears agitated at the sluggishness of one of her aides in opening the door gives some interesting insight into her Royal highness.

Elizabeth Ketay Kite from Tonga, who was actually named after the Queen herself, was one of the three young women chosen for the incredible opportunity.

As the Queen was getting ready for the afternoon, she appeared to became visibly agitated slightly with one of her aides.

“Can you push that open?” The Queen asked, seemingly pointing at a do. “Of course,” came a voice off-camera.

“No no the other way,” she insisted, putting on a serious countenance which she appears to consciously balance with some joviality.

“That’s right, thank you. Otherwise they can’t get in,” she added with a smile.

When the three guests arrived, the 92-year-old monarch easily shared memories of her time in Tonga When asked by Elizabeth Kit, winner of the Queen’s young people’s award, if she had enjoyed her time in the pacific of Tonga, The Queen replied:

“We had people playing the nose flute outside the window.

“Just the most extraordinary thing. Sounds awfully uncomfortable but they play it rather well.

“The only thing I found difficult was sitting cross-legged.

“It’s quite painful for people who are not built in the same direction.
