Two police men have been shot and killed in Paris and one injured in what appears to be a terrorist attack.The attacker opened an automatic weapon on a police vehicle and the police fired back and killed him.
The cause of the shooting is unclear , but with the French elections around the corner, it could have been politically motivated. Police have confirmed they know the identity of the man, and they have opened up a terrorist investigation.
Killings of this type are usually inherently terrorist related , although there is always the possibility for a.man to kill a police officer out of a personal vendetta he has against officers
Investigators don’t want to speculate on the motivation of the killer , but will leave no stones unturned in their search for answers. The murders will leave a sour taste in the country as they prepare to go the polls this weekend.

Police has issued a warrant for a second man who arrived in Paris from Germany .
Paris has again been gripped by terror , with many residents fearful to leave their homes. Armed police have covered most of the streets in a heightened alert of terror.
SECURITY SERVICES
French security services had expressed concern that an attack may be planned to co-incide with the elections. With those worse fears now confirmed, nobody knows how this may affect the elections.
