Piers Morgan’s son Spencer is believed to have broken lockdown rules to escape to hot Barbados, where life is bubbling without the kind of restrictions blighting the fun of brits stuck in what now seems like a never ending lockdown.
The Good Morning Britain star’s eldest son, 27, who lives in London, appears to have ignored international travel being banned from Tier 4 areas, except for work .
Under Tier 4 rules, international travel is only permitted for work, but Spencer has left the country to breath a sigh of relief from the harsh coronavirus rules, which his father Piers Morgan has been a strong advocate for.
Piers Morgan has frequently criticised the British government for being too slow to enforce lockdowns at the cost of increased hospitalisations and deaths from covid-19 related causes. His son is on the other extreme of his father’s philosophy on the handling of the pandemic, knowledge known and active social media followers who spotted the announcement made by Spencer to his 27.8k followers on twitter.
Handsome Spencer is still in his element, and his been very vocal about his objections to the Uk’s national lockdown, in stark contrast with his father who has been vocal in support of lockdown’s.
The young man uploaded a shirtless snap from the luxury destination onto his Instagram page on Tuesday, after spending the festive period at his dad’s home in East Sussex, which was originally in tier 2 but later upgraded to tier 4. Next to the snap were the words: “The quarantine Christmas was worth it. Farewell to an absolute shambles of a year.”

Relief
Spencer had initially shared his relief after he “escaped” London for the family’s country home in Tier 2 Sussex, as it was then.
The lad left the city for Newick ahead of strict Tier 4 restrictions , to enjoy the opulent surroundings of the second home of his father and wife cillia, which boast a swimming pool.

Confident
Being the son of Piers Morgan has undoubtedly been a good start for Spencer, who is intelligent and confident enough to fend off any disadvantages arising from critics of some of his father’s bullish antics on television.
His father’s accomplishments in life has paved the way for Spencer to carve out his own identity among his circle, and establish his individual outlook on various matters on life. He opposes the Uk lockdown, but leaving the country against the rules does not set good standards for other youths to follow.
Just before the new lockdown rules came into effect, the following day, Spencer tweeted: “Escaping to our house in Sussex just in time #adaptandovercome #tier2.”
