Parents Have Alot of Influence on Their Children

By Charlotte Webster-

Parents have Alot of influence on their children, but much depends in how they raise them. Children watch their parents, and copy what they see. Irresponsible parents breed irresponsible kids.

This does not mean all irresponsible children have irresponsible parents, what it means is that most irresponsible parents are likely to produce irresponsible children.

Responsible parents do not tolerate rudeness to adults from their children. They immediately put them in check from an early age. Doing drugs or drinking irresponsibly in the presence of children sends signals to children, that their parents approve if that sort of behaviour.

Many children. see their parents as their heroes, the very reason parents have a duty to instill positive values their children from an early age.

Children should be taught about th e dangers of drugging alcohol from a young age. They should be taught that whilst alcohol in moderation is not bad, they should resist the temptation to copy their friends drinking excessively.

Patents can influence their children by teaching them that not all children are brought up properly.  The reasons should be explained that there are many parents who had children when they themselves were still children.

This means only the mature and sensible patents among those, will pass good training to their children.

Many parents are still immature and irresponsible, so have little in the way of training their children well. Responsible parents must let their children understand this perfectly.

Parents can influence their children to live education from an early age. Giving children interesting educational books to read from a young age, and motivating them to read and learn is a useful way of influencing your child.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” – Dr. SeussRewards and incentives are very useful in this sense because most children respond to that. This does not mean children should not be able to learn unless they are offered incentives. All it means is that incentives and rewards can be a source of motivation for children.

Parents can influence their children to eat healthily by setting a good example  and explaining the various contents in food, and their effects.

Children are.more.likely to develop a healthy lifestyle if the understand the benefits to their life of doing so, and the potential consequences of ignoring it.
