A popular resort in Norfolk has been closed due to the coronavirus. The boss of Potters Resort in Norfolk has taken the “unprecedented step” of closing “for the foreseeable future” because of coronavirus.

The family owned resort which boasts a theatre and has been in operation for about a century goes into oblivion after John Potter who inherited the rich resort from his late father Brain Potter announced its indefinite closure.

The top of the range resort  included a standard bungalow accommodation as standard with en-suite bathrooms and shower rooms. The resort was well attended and was the destination for cosy couples and tourists alike who enjoyed the ambient surroundings and entertaining atmosphere of a place which for  multiple decades had been the joy of those lucky enough to have spent time there.

In a statement released today, the holiday park in Norfolk stated: “Further to the government’s statement recommending that everyone should avoid unnecessary contact, close social proximity, or travel, we have taken the unprecedented precaution of closing Potters Resort for the foreseeable future.

“We are mindful of the impact of this extraordinary crisis on our guests, staff, and suppliers. We have to pull together as friends, colleagues and loved ones to help and protect the most at risk in our society.
