Rapper Ludacris, who will host this years Billboard music awards announced the categories for those awards today on ABC’s fall out boy ”Good Morning America” show with fall out rapper Pete Wenz. Featured in the list of contenders are some renouned musical giants that will nicely wet our appetites. Grammy Award winner Sam Smith will go against one direction Katy Perry and Taylor Swift for the top artist gong at this years Billboard Music Awards.
The 22 year old British heart throb dominated the musical acts alongside Taylor Smith in America last year and will be up for an interesting showdown against popular Smith in the forthcoming awards. Smith trailed against smith my one nomination, picking up 13 nominations himself against Smith’s 14 nominations. The finalists will compete against each other, with Swifts ‘Shake it against’ pitted against Smith’s ‘stay with me’
Pop Star Katy Perry and British One Direction singer Ariana Grande both one nominations for top artists too and will stand as opponents against Swify, Meghan Trainor and Aussie talent , Azalea. Perry, Timberlake, Lady Gaga, One Direction and Rolling Stones will compete for top touring artist.
