MP David Lammy’s Artist Family Friend Missing In Fire

By Eric King-

Mp David Lammy is in a desperate bid to find his artist family friend , Khadije Saye.

The Tottenham MP told BBC Radio 4 that corporate manslaughter charges should be brought against those responsible , and police arrests should be made.

Lammy’ s call comes as the death toll rose to 17, after a police officer at the scene on Wednesday told the eye of media.com that the death toll could easily run into the hundreds. Kensington Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation is on the firing line , with so much egg on their face.

Lammy’ said: “This is the richest borough in the country treated it’s citizens this way. We should call it what it is . It’s Corporate Manslaughter , that’s why it is , there should be arrests made”.

“Many of us around the country have been caught up in an election , knocking on housing estates right across the country , going up the top floors of tower blocks .We know as politicians the conditions in this country are unacceptable . We built buildings in he 70′ s, these 70’s buildings should be demolished .”

” They haven’t got easy fire emergency exits , they’ve got no sprinklers , it’s totally unacceptable that this is allowed to happen , and people loose their lives in this way. People should be held to account “.

Speaking of his missing friend , be added : ” beautiful young woman with an amazing career ahead of her . Wonderful artist , her work is on show in Venice at the moment , we have heard nothing “.

Lammy’ is absolutely right. This state of affairs is totally unacceptable, and manslaughter charges should be brought. It is absolutely inexcusable that a disaster like this could take place. Theresa May visited the scene of the fire today and has promised a full public inquiry. A full public inquiry should certainly lead to charges of corporate manslaughter. When so many lives are lost due to such a high level of negligence, there must be consequences .

Those who wield power must be made to realise that human lives cannot be compromised so recklessly. Children are among the dead , and entire families are still missing. Witnesses recounted how they heard children screaming for help as the devilish inferno made its way through the 24 storey tower block . It is a dreadful scenario to learn of the tragic incident , worse in impact than the last two terrorist attacks combined that has occured in Britain. No doubt, legal authorities will be looking closely at this case , their legal knowledge and expertise in full swing.
