Max Clifford was denied medical treatment in jail, if there is any credibility to his daughter’s claim. His daughter Louise, insists that the former successful publicist was denied medical treatment before the disgraced PR guru was found collapsed dead in his prison cell.
The 74 year-old had fallen twice at the Cambridgeshire jail where he is serving an eight-year sentence for historical sex offences.
Clifford, who had been ill since suffering a heart attack in August, confirmed dead in hospital on Sunday , following a cardiac arrest. His daughter, Louise, who appeared in court as a witness for her father , claims she was fighting for her father to be given medical treatment alongside her father’s legal team and doctor, but had no success.
On Sunday, a Prison Service spokeswoman confirmed Clifford’s death in a statement: “HMP Littlehey prisoner Maxwell Clifford died in hospital on 10 December 2017.
”As with all deaths in custody, there will be an investigation by the independent prisons and probation ombudsman. Our condolences are with Mr Clifford’s family at this difficult time,” she said.

Clifford was once a celebrated PR Guru, but saw his image completely tarnished once he was found guilty of sexual assault. He would still have deserved the right to medication, so a strong investigation will reveal what happened there.
