In Kenneth Lonergon’s new film, Manchester on the Sea, their new trailer is full of imagination in its theme and narrative. The innovatively written film has Casey Afflede starring as Lee, a man compelled by circumstances outside his control, to return to his homeland.

His unforeseen encounter with his estranged wife in ‘Manchester On the Sea leads to responsibilities he never bargained for, and too awkward to decline. He discovery that Joe has made him guardian to his teenage son creates a reality requiring a prompt adjustment of his lifestyle, as he the call to  quickly adapt to important realities dawns on him

The heart-tugging movie shows how unpredictable life can be. The pair’s unfortunate reunion due to the death of Casey’s older brother Joe , played by Kyle Chandler, is heart rendering.

Michelle Williams plays nephews Patrick’s mother Randi and a relationship is forged between them as they learn to adjust and deal with this new family situation that has been thrown at them.

Intriguing viewers will be the wonder as to whether the lost relationship between estranged Randi and the Brother Lee Chandler (Casey) ?

Raised in a Massachusetts fishing village for generations, Casey who was a regular Boston Janitor finds his life truly turned upside down when he must return home.
