MAN STABBED BY WOMAN IN SOUTHEND FLATS OVER DISPUTE

BY GABRIEL PRINCEWILL

A young woman, 27 year old Lisa Jones, has been arrested this morning accused of stabbing a man in a block of flats in Southend.

The man,Kurtiss Baxter, aged 40, was accompanied to Southend hospital on foot by a friend whilst covered in blood. The victims jacket was found by the flats soaked in blood, and was taken by forensics for examination.

An ambulance was not called because he did not have a phone at the time, and his friends mobile battery was dead. He arrived at the hospital covered in blood and told the hospital staff he felt like he was passing out. He was imediately admitted to A&E where officers spoke to him and eventually sent colleagues in the early hours of the morning to arrest the suspect of grievious bodily harm, at St mary’s court where she resides.

Over a dozen officers including C.I.D from Rayleigh police force attended the scene and cordened off the area while forensics examine the scene. Strangely, the dispute started over the man eating food from the fridge without the permission of the home owner who was mutual friends with him and Lisa. Baxter had supplied the food in the fridge and also contributed 30 pounds to the home owner’s gas bill. However his one offense was not getting permission before eating the food. He had also tried to take out 3 dustbin bags full of rubbish out for the dustmen, but unfortunately left the empty bins in the hallway. This infuriated Lisa and the home owner, prompting lisa into a rage which led to him being allegedly stabbed. Lisa is currently in custody whilst police continue their investigations.
