Man Charged Over Murder At East London Snooker Hall Club

A man has been charged with murder after a fatally shooting his victim in a snooker hall in an East London Club.

Fire arms officers were called to the Phoenix Club in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton shortly before 3am on July 7 where they found the victim suffering from gun shot wounds., following an altercation with another group of boys. Efforts of the emergency services to save his life failed, and he was pronounced dead.

Five men and a woman in total were arrested in connection with the killing, but police announced that they charged a man with the murder of 27 year old Liridon Saliuka. Liridon Saliuka, 29, of no fixed abode was charged on Tuesday (July 16) with the murder of 27-year-old Grineo Daka, possession of a firearm, and grievous bodily harm with intent. He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, July 17)..

The 27-year-old victim  had gone to the snooker club with two friends when an argument broke out with another group and several shots were fired, police said.Emergency services, including armed police, rushed to the scene in Lea Bridge Road shortly before 3am and found him suffering from a gunshot injury. Two men, aged 33 and 34, previously arrested on suspicion of murder have been bailed until August while another, aged 26, has been released under investigation.

The Eye Of Media.Com have appointed a few youths to the club to act as subterfuge in finding out what really happened before the case goes to court, though will not be able to report on any findings whilst the case is in progress.
