A key suspect in the case of missing girl , Madelaine McCann is being linked to the murder of a teenage girl whose body was found chopped up
Police have smelling a rat after connecting the fact that Carola Titze had been in contact with a German man days before she disappeared while on holiday in De Haan in 1996.
Carola Titze was 16-years-old when her mutilated body was found on the beach in 1996.She went out on a walk towards the beach in the morning but never returned.
The development comes after prosecutors re-opened the probe into the disappearance of German five-year-old Inga Gehricke, who vanished during a family outing in Saxony-Anhalt on May 2, 2015.
The father of six-year-old René Hasee, who vanished on June 21, 1996 while on holiday with his family in Aljezur, 25 miles from Praia da Luz, has also claimed police are re-opening his son’s case.
Gehricke went missing from a family party in Saxony-Anhalt on May 2, 2015, and was never found. olice have reopened the investigation in René Hasee’s disappearance in 1996.
The schoolboy, from Elsdorf, Germany, vanished on June 21, 1996 while on holiday with his family in Aljezur – just 25 miles from Praia da Luz, in the Algarve.
Police have received hundreds tip offs after a convicted sexual predator in the missing case was named this week.
Christian Brueckner, named this week as the prime suspect in Madeleine McCann’s disappearance was jailed for the rape of a 72 year old woman which occurred 18 months before the little girl’s disappearance.
Brueckner trained as a car mechanic, and first fled to Lagos in Portugal with a girlfriend after serving part of a two-year sentence for child abuse at a Wurzburg juvenile court in 1994.

The German paedophile is closely fitting the bill so much as the man responsible for her disappearance, but cops did either an admission or remains to concretely nail him.
Useful information received could also for the basis of circumstantial evidence to positively identify him as the evil perpetrator of this heinous crime.
Scotland Yard’s team of detectives working on the investigation into the disappearance, named Operation Grange, have revealed over 400 tip offs since he was named as a prime suspect in the unsolved case.
Witness accounts at the time of the disappearance when added to his criminal background, now makes the suspect appear more like the missing link. After nearly two decades, the world waits to see if police are close to getting their their man
Witness Accounts
Witness accounts at the time make Brueckner look so much like the man whose actions led to years of investigation in search for answers about a disappearance that made global headlines.
A particular surprise is why this man was at no point during earlier investigations, a main person of interest. Witnesses described a mysterious man fitting Brueckner’s description, and though interviewed by police, he did not rank high on their list of suspects.
British witness, Tasmin Silence, 12 at the time, told police she saw a white man in dark glasses with his gazing at the complex. Her account has always been believed to be credible, but not much in the way of action focused on the man fitting her description, appears to have been taken,
Ms Silence told cops that moments later, she looked up and saw a girl around Madeleine’s age on a sun deck in the same block.
Tasmin also provided police with the photofit picture circulated at the time which resembles 43 year old Christian Bracuckner.
According to her account to the Judicial Police, she was walking to school at 8am on April 30 when she first saw the man at the rear of the family’s apartment.
Her statement said the man was starring at the empty balcony. She claims to have seen the same man on her way back from a supermarket.
She added that his face was pockmarked, he looked “ugly” and was casually dressed and wearing large-framed sunglasses.
Another woman, Carole Tranmer, 72, gave Portuguese and Leicestershire police a description which uncannily matched that of Christian B in 2008.
Tranmer told cops :“I saw someone leave the apartment of the first floor, closing the gate very gently. It appeared very strange.
“He did this as though he wanted to make the minimum amount of noise, that is stealthily, and as if he did not want anyone to know that he was coming or going.
“He was 30 to 35, light-skinned, no freckles, he was not sunburned, he was not dark, he was a light colour.”
Proximity
Another strange observation is that the proximity of the key suspect’s residence to that of the MCcann’s. lived less than a mile away from where the Mcann’s were based.
Given the fact he is a complete paedophile, makes it an informality that he has key information police need to hear about.
Goncalo Amaral, who led the initial probe, confirmed last April that a German paedophile serving a prison sentence had been identified in 2007 as a potential suspect.
Christian Brueckner has a criminal record including burglary and child abuse crimes.
Amaral said his detectives found nothing to suggest the German was involved in Madeleine’s abduction at the time. This is despite the fact he was a known paedophile who lived so close to the Mcann’s. That’s because suspicion does not equal evidence in criminal cases.
Brueckner’s became a key suspect after he told a pal in jail that he knew all about young Maddie’s disappearance.
