Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, who delivered a powerful keynote speech at the annual SXSW Conference in Texas. Titled “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On And Off The Screen”

Meghan’s address resonated with audiences as she emphasized the importance of representation and empowerment in media and entertainment.

Meghan  was praised by the panel as a “driving force for positive change” , as she told the audience that much of her work focuses on giving equal opportunities to disadvantaged women.

She said it was “incomprehensible” for some girls from disadvantaged backgrounds and minorities to imagine what success is like.

International Women’s Day, observed on March 8th each year is a reminder of the progress made towards gender equality and the work that remains. It is a day to honor the achievements of women across various fields, acknowledge the challenges they face, and advocate for meaningful change.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2024, “Break the Bias,” underscores the need to challenge stereotypes, combat discrimination, and create a more inclusive world.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has emerged as a prominent advocate for women’s rights and empowerment.
