Heathrow Planes Grounded Over Coronavirus As Fears Heighten

By Ashley Young-

Eight planes at Heathrow Airport were grounded this morning after passengers on board complained of coronavirus symptoms.

Passengers on a United Airlines flight from San Francisco were told to stay put after landing following concerns that one of them may have caught the deadly flu-like disease.  The captain warned they could stuck for some time as there had been health scares on ‘seven other planes’.

The British public are on heightened alarm with the Coronavirus especially after it emerged that a victim of the virus attended a bus conference filled with delegates last month. The increasing number of victims has also stoked fears that the virus could spread through public transport like the London underground , British rail and public transport.

Public Health England and Heathrow officials have refused to release any details about this morning’s incident which would have involved hundreds of passengers.
