Google Box’s Issy and Ellie Warner are taking a break from the hit Channel 4 show. The Leeds based duo have been told by programme producers to take all the time they need , following the horror car crash of Ellie’s boyfriend, Nat Eddleston.
The duo, based in Leeds, have been urged to take time out from Gogglebox after Ellie’s boyfriend Nat Eddleston was hit by a car and immediately rushed to intensive care.
Nat remains in a stable condition, but the 31-year-old may have suffered brain damage as a result of the crash. Reports say that Nat was enjoying a night out at the pub with friends prior to the crash.

He suffered with a broken neck, broken back, two collapsed lungs and possible brain damage. They added he was also initially placed on a life support machine.
A source said: “Channel 4 take duty of care really seriously.
“Obviously Ellie and Issy are two of the most loved regulars on the show but it wouldn’t be right for them to have to film a light hearted show when Nat is in such a critical condition.
“Producers have made it clear there is no pressure to return to filming and they can take all the time they need.
They added he was also initially placed on a life support machine.
In a short statement, West Yorkshire Police confirmed: “The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing”.
