Fresh footage of George Floyd’s arrest has been shown to journalists revealing a panicking and fearful Mr Floyd pleading with the officers in the minutes before his death.
The videos begin as Minneapolis police officers Thomas Lane and J Alexander Kueng are seen responding to a call over a fake banknote being used at a local market.
Shortly after speaking with a store employee, the officers were at the door of the car Mr Floyd was in. Following an initial knock with a torch, Mr Lane points a gun at Mr Floyd and orders him to put his hands up

The footage reveals how the officers continue to keep Mr Floyd in a restrained position. The judge presiding over the case ordered that the video not be shown publicly.
The video also captures an apparent lack of urgency to render aid to Mr Floyd for long minutes after he stopped moving. In the video, Mr Floyd can be heard telling the officers he is “not a bad guy” as they try to wrestle him into a squad car. He later lays motionless on the floor.
It says that just seconds after speaking with a store employee, the officers were at the door of the car Mr Floyd was in and, after an initial knock with a torch, Mr Lane points a gun at Mr Floyd and orders him to put his hands up.

Mr Floyd’s heartless killing caused global outrage, leading to wide protests in the U.S and many parts of the world. The killing has led to a review about racism and police brutality in America and is expected to bring about many reforms in how the police deal with criminals and suspected criminals.
The U.S police force are notorious for brutal killings of unarmed men, both black and white, and have often committed murder without consequence.
President Trump was recently criticised for stating that white people are killed more often by police than black people. His critics pointed out that black people make up a much smaller proportion of the U.S than white people and are killed at a much higher rate.
The point president Trump was trying to make was that police brutality in America was unconnected to racism, a view that increased consternation by the black lives matters group.
