A forensic psychologist has challenged claims that Amber Heard has post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Forensic psychologist Dr Shannon Curry(pictured) appeared in the Virginia court as a rebuttal witness, to dispute previous testimony by Dr Hughes’ , which declared Heard as having suffered from post traumatic stress.

Heard’s legal team had said said the Aquaman star ‘demonstrated very clear psychological and traumatic effects’.
She also dismissed the claim that the couple was responsible for “mutual abuse”, as testified by their marriage counsellor earlier in the trial
Dr Curry said claims of PTSD should not be credited with much weight because: “They don’t provide us with the robust information that would be expected in such a high-stakes setting.”

Dr Curry also testified that Heard’s approach to different PTSD tests was ‘influenced by what we call the validity.
Also in today’s developments, Judge Penney Azcarate heard an emergency motion to intervene filed by TMZ to prevent a former employee from testifying in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation case
‘We’re seeking to intervene simply to protect the relationship between reporters and their sources,’ Charles Tobin said.
Tobin said former TMZ employee Morgan Tremaine is under subpoena.
Depp’s lawyer Benjamin Chew disputed that Tremaine had been subpoenaed.
The court also heard arguments from Depp on Wednesday that Heard unleased her abuse not only on him, but also on her sister.
He told the court that he recalled seeing Heard grab her sister Whitney Henriquez and ‘push her around. Heard had a bemused look on her face as she intently absorbed the words from her husband as they formed an attack against her credibility. 
Depp’s intently listened to Depp’s claim that she fabricated claim of pushing down the stairs.
Depp claimed he’d never heard ‘staircase incident’ rumor until Heard ‘spewed it three times’ in court.
The rumour that he pushed his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss down stairs in Jamaica, was one he said he had never heard before until Amber Heard ‘spewed it three times’ in court.
‘Ms Heard took the story and turned it into a very ugly incident, all in her mind,’ Depp said.
