Forensic evidence has  linked a man who died in December to the double murder of a convicted sex offender and his daughter in the same month.

37 year old Henry,  a youth worker, was found dead in a block of flats in Southwark, south-east London, on New Year’s Eve in “non-suspicious” circumstances.

A GoFundMe page set up in the memory of the murderer said he was last seen alive at the community centre where he worked on 5 December.

The page has raised £1,480 since 12 January, reads: “Nathaniel worked at the Damilola Taylor Centre as a basketball coach and mentor. He was a true pillar of the community who loved helping to make a difference. He would always go above and beyond his job by helping the children with any problems they may have had at home.”

Noel’s younger brother,  52 year old Kenneth Lucas was remanded in jail at the time of his brother’s death. Lucas was eventually cleared of attempted murder after his accuser failed to turn up to the Basildon trial in February.Lucas told The Eye Of Media.Com : ”It is so sad and heartbreaking that my brother’s killer escaped justice, and is now dead. This is where life is unfair, how can a murderer just get away with a double murder like this. At least the news will bring some closure to the question of who killed my brother and my niece”, he said.

Noel Brown was found strangled and his body dismembered. His killer removed some of the body parts from the flat over a period of visits to the scene.  Police believe Brown’s daughter was  strangled after disturbing the killer when she visited to check on her father on 2 December.

Detectives now have more information to use in determining if mr.Brown or his daughter had any previous connection with mr.Henry, and if so what conection.  They are trying to piece together Henry’s final movements. They have previously trawled through 1,000 hours of CCTV footage in the investigation and issued images of a man seen carrying a distinctive large rucksack.
