group that include one woman – pull and push each other against the backdrop of the Magistrates Court on Friday, October 6.
The woman in the clip pulls an older man to his feet after he was knocked down in the brawl. The brawl was watched by a numbe rof onlookers, shocked that such level of violence can take place outside a court of law. The fight was connected to a court case that had taken place that day. Court cases have the potential of enraging parties to the case, whether they are witnesses, defendants victims, or associates of any of those. Police arersted a handful of those involved in the brawl, but the rest headed away from the scene before police got there.
Fights outside court are not common, but happen occassionally in cases that get people’s blood up.When tempers flare up so highly, individuals silly enough to fight in an openly public place, rarely consider the easy likelihood that they could be filmed by someone watching. There are no shortage of people from the public who enjoy watching a footage filled with action from a bunch of angry and foolish people who may be unknowingly signing off a jail sentence agaianst themselves. Court cases exist to resolve disputes and execute justice in favour or against various people.
