Proven racist, Jeremy Clarkson, has condemned Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, saying Piers lost his job for northing.
Clarkson, who is a brilliant television personality, has a chequered past with racism himself, went full swing against Meghan Markle, by calling her a silly U.S cable actress and undermining Piers Morgan’s bad judgement which lost him his job at Good Morning Britain.
His popularity on British television at the height of his career with Top Gear took a hit after a series of racist antics captured on air in 2014.
Clarkson , who said it was weird for him to agree with Piers Morgan on anything, spoke out in favour of Piers quitting Good Morning Britain following the backlash over his comments about Meghan which had the effect of undermining the credibility of her claims, particularly on mental health issues .
Piers Morgan rhetorically asked, who did she go to, what did they say?
Jeremy expressed his latest view in The Sun, stating that the monarchy has survived worse than the shock revelations Meghan and Harry shared – including claims that a member of the Royal family had expressed ‘concerns’ about what colour Archie’s skin would be before he was born.
The former Top Gear presenter wrote: ‘If the British monarchy can soldier on through that, I’m fairly sure it’ll be able to weather the banal musings of a silly little cable TV actress.’
He added: ‘Trust me on this one. Markle’s toast, and within five years, I suspect she’ll be posing for photographs, on her own outside the Taj Mahal or sitting on the back of a playboy’s yacht in the Med, and poor old Piers will realise that he lost his job over absolutely nothing at all.’
The Sun Newspaper are currently locked in a legal battle with Meghan Markle over claims of alleged hacking, and a former investigator with the paper recently claimed he was told to obtain private information about Meghan Markle using whatever means he had available to him.
The paper revealed a signed document in which he was told to only use legal means.
Step Down
Piers Morgan was forced to step down after over 57,000 people complained about his comments about Meghan Markle (Picture: CBS) Over 57,000 people had complained over his comments about Meghan to Ofcom, including Meghan herself.
During his rant, Piers had claimed not to have believed anything Meghan had said, saying on GMB: ‘I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle.
‘I wouldn’t believe it if she read me the weather report. The fact that she’s fired up this onslaught against our Royal Family I think is contemptible.’ After his departure from the show was announced, he tweeted: ‘On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview
Clarkson is the last one who should be getting involved in this argument after a string of racist comments in the past in the full glare of the public.
Offensive Racial Term
In 2014, Clarkson told a man walked towards himself and Richard Hammond on a Thai bridge, Clarkson said “That is a proud moment – but there’s a slope on it.” Hammond replied: “You’re right, it’s definitely higher on that side.” Media watchdog Ofcom found that Clarkson had deliberately used an “offensive racial term” that caused offence and breached broadcasting rules.
The same year on Top Gear, Clarkson recited the beginning of the children’s nursery rhyme “eeny, meeny, miny, moe” before apparently mumbling: “Catch a nigger by his toe.”
Clarkson would seem to be the last person to add his voice to any topic involving racism, giving his awful history.
In 2015, The Guardian listed a number of missteps by the television host, revealing his highly biased leaning as a human being.
Clarkson’s comments also serve to undermine Meghan Markle’s pain and claims of mental health issues during her time at the palace.
