EastEnders actors Jake Wood and Ricky Norwood cut the ribbon to unveil the newest addition to Brentwood’s shopping scene – a freshly refurbished Costcutter store in The Keys, Eagle Way, Warley.

The store, a former Morrisons, underwent an impressive £150,000 transformation before its grand reopening on Saturday.

The EastEnders duo, known for their roles as Max Branning and Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb, played a starring role in the store’s festive opening event.

Store owner, Peter Patel, expressed his delight at the successful opening, stating, “The opening of our new Costcutter store at Warley was a huge success.” Patel added, “It was great to meet lots of new people who told us they are really looking forward to shopping in our new store.”
