The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released two new portraits ahead of their 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
The release of the pictures comes in the wake of news that the couple are still very upset with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, following their interview with Oprah Winfrey in March.
With their wedding anniversary now in their sight, the loved couple must now focus on their own romantic relationship which has brought them this far.
They now have three children: seven-year-old Prince George, Princess Charlotte, five, and three-year-old Prince Louis.
The wedding ten years ago was spectacularly joyous, and celebrated by 2,000 guests. On her wedding day, Kate’s ‘something new’ was her earrings – diamond-set oak leaves with a pear-shaped drop and a diamond acorn, a gift from her parents based on the family’s new coat of arms.
Each member of the Middleton family had a piece of jewellery created for them for the occasion, with Kate’s mother, Carole, responsible for co-designing the earrings with bespoke jewellers Robinson Pelham.
The lavish wedding was one to remember, it practically blew the nation’s breath away.

At the time William was still very close to his brother, Harry, who was best man for the ceremony, but the relationship has become somewhat fractious since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, and the two wives struggled to hit it off straight away.
Kate Middleton has long been on the right side of the British media, rarely putting a foot wrong since she joined the royal family.
During the coronavirus lockdowns, William and Kate have been praised for baking goods for local vulnerable people, carried out video calls, supported key workers and home-schooled their children.
Kate has also been dedicated to charity work in the areas of mental health, the visual arts and the benefits of outdoor life.
The couple are known to be sentimental, and relish special moments captured through pictures. They released never-before-seen photos of Prince Philip with the Queen and their seven grandchildren, giving a glimpse into the Royal Family following his death earlier this month as a tribute to the 99-year-old.
The pictures of their wedding must being sweet memories of their big day, making this tenth year a milestone. They should make the most of every bit of it.
Happy anniversary to the this loving and romantic couple, ten years on.
