A drunk motorist filmed herself driving at 80mph just moments before killing her passenger in a crash.
Drink Chelsea Standage, 21,(pictured) filmed herself as she drove at dangerous speeds before she hit a wall and a parked car, killing Elliott Lemm, 20.

Standage was jailed at Leeds Crown Court yesterday (July 27) where she was sentenced to eight years and eight months imprisonment.
She will not be considered for release from prison until she has served at least two thirds of her sentence and she was also banned from driving for 10 years.
She captioned the snapchat video ‘We’re only off 80mph’ and ‘mate she’s never experienced a crash ahahahahahahaha.’

The shocking video depicts the frightened voice of a female passenger saying: ‘No I’m being serious, slow down’ and Standage replies: ‘I’m only going 80mph.’
Disturbing Snapchat messages have been released by the police showing passengers asking a 21-year-old to slow down as she hits 80mph on a B-road moments before a fatal crash which killed one and seriously injured two others
The drunkard was speeding on the 30mph road when the crash happened on November 13, 2021 on Wakefield Road in Horbury, West Yorks,.
CCTV footage captured before the crash shows her driving at ‘excessive speed’, before she lost control of her vehicle on a bend, collided with a wall and a parked car.
Pictures taken after the incident show that the left side of the car had been destroyed because of the crash.
Standage, of Wakefield, West Yorks,. also gave an evidential breath test result of 63 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35.
She had previously pleaded guilty to causing the death of Elliott by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Elliot’s mum Samantha Lemm paid tribute to her son in a victim statement and said ‘there was still so much for him to do.’
She said: “I don’t believe I will ever forget the night the police came to my home to tell me that my boy had died.
“The day that I had to close the lid on his coffin and put Elliott into the dark I knew that it was forever.
“Elliot was taken so suddenly there was still so much for him to do and so much I wanted to say to him.
“Every morning when I wake up my heart is broken.”
Ms Lemm said would never forgive Standage as she recalled the trauma of identifying Elliott’s body with his father Ian and aunt Vicky.
Part of his spine bone was missing while his ribcage had shattered and pierced into his vital organs, leaving only his heart intact.
She said: ‘I was begging and begging him to wake up. If I could have put my breath in him to give him my life I would have done in a heartbeat.
‘I wanted to swap places with him. When I held his hand and realised he wasn’t waking up, I just dropped to the ground.’
The boy’s mother said her ‘cheeky chappy’ son worked as a machine operator and was studying for an NVQ Level 2 and 3.
Detective Sergeant Paul Lightowler said that Standage’s ‘reckless actions’ killed Elliott, who had ‘his whole life ahead of him.’
He said: “Chelsea Standage’s reckless actions on that night have had an absolutely devastating impact not just on those in the car but their families, friends and the wider community.
“People may recall this collision and the media coverage of Snapchat messages sent from within the car with one of the passengers telling Chelsea to ‘slow down’.
“Sadly, the speed she was travelling at and her impaired judgement from drinking alcohol killed one person and seriously injured two others.
“Elliott was just 20 years old when he died, with his whole life ahead of him.
“His family and the police hope that by highlighting the events leading up to this collision that it might make others think twice about driving after a night out.
“I hope that the conclusion of this court case brings some closure for Elliott’s family, and the two other young people injured in this collision, as they continue to rebuild their lives after this truly tragic incident.”
