The eye of media.com can reveal that many drug dealers in Manchester are giving our business cards to promote their drug business.
Many of the business cards look professional and have the nick name of the dealer , but they substitute the name of the drug they sell for the name ' food'.
They advertise their business with flowery adjectives like ” for the best food in town.Always on time , no need to look any further “.
Some of the Manchester dealers sell just about anything from cocaine to MDMA to cannabis. The new seemingly sophisticated style of dealing is designed to distinguish tjselves from dealers without cards and present a professional image with their customers.
TARGET
Many of the Manchester dealers target students at the University of Manchester – a top university with several bright students who like to get high. The dangers of drugs unfortunately does not put off intellectual students who wish to get high during University house parties.
Getting high on drugs has become the vogue in many universities , as this is seen as balancing any perception of being a nurd . University students are no exceptions to the influence of peer pressure . A fair percentage of them have been getting high at least occassiinly during their two year A level course .
Most A level students who smoke drugs only toy with cannabis. However, university opens up new doors of thinking and many students elect to emulate other students who they admire. They graduate to snorting cocaine and taking MDMA to fit in with others. Dealers are aware of the high interest among students to get high.
MOURNING
Manchester is a city in mourning after the terrorist attacks after the Ariana Grande concert. The dust has hardly settled down, but most students have now finished their exams and gone home. Those still in the city are enjoying the great weather and partying in the evening.
21 year old final year English student, Philip Hall told the eye of media.com ” this is a great city , the.night life is fun. Students like to get high during weekends , but especially after exams. Students like dealers who keep time “.
Hall admits drugs is becoming a dangerous trend all v students but says ” you can get knocked over by a bus tomorrow “. This saying is often abused and used to undermine the health risks of drugs.
CRIME
The crime rate in Manchester is very high , University students are the salt of the city. “Those with business cards are taken more seriously than those who just leave their numbers on your phone, they are generally seen as safer too . They are less likely to knock you”, Hall said.
DANGEROUS
Manchester drug dealers are among the most dangerous in the country, rivaling London drug dealers. Those with business cards portray the image of individuals who are straight dealing with good intentions that set them apart from their ruthless competitors in the city.
Whatever way the good Manchester dealers are viewed, even the best intentions of drug dealers are bad. All they want is your money and addiction.
