David Cameron will be attending a meeting at Brussels today to urge European leaders to tighten their boarders amid fears that more migrants are attempting to get in the mix with genuine refugees. Cameron, who was the world’s laughing stock yesterday because of allegations he put his sexual anatomy into the mouth of a dead pig whilst at Uni, will have to put on a brave face when addressing leaders at that summit. He should hope none of them ask him if it is true or not.
Concern that migrants might try and be indistinguishable from genuine refugees is real, though such are the consequences for starting a war on immoral grounds. Most believe that the war in Syria would never have started if Britain had a genuine foreign policy and never sparked war in Iraq and Syria. There would have been no need for refugees trying to escape the nightmarish civil war they did not create. And when you hear that your Prime Minister may have participated in a bizarre act of foolishness as part of an initiation process, you can’t help wondering how many other foolish decisions he may have made , especially as Prime Minister. We need to know we have a leader who is incapable of making daft decisions for whatever reason. OK, Cameron was young at Uni, but still old and clever enough to know when an act is pathetically stupid. He has still not denied the allegation in a book about to hit the shelves of as many libraries as will take it. Times will get tougher when that book is released.
RESTRICTION OF REFUGEES
In terms of the restriction of fake refugees from entering Europe, this is a reasonable position the Prime Minister has taken, but it will be a tough job distinguishing them. Anybody can pretend to be a refugee if they play their dubious cards right. The worse fear is that potential terrorists with warped minds would try and sneak in among them in an attempt to wreak harvoc in Britain as a vengeful act. Britain so far leads the way in terms of aid contribution- £1bn has so far been given in Donations, which is great but unfortunately cannot quell the growing problem. Unless Britain and other European countries have some really clever mechanism that will enable them to scrutinize every single individual who attempts to come in as a refugee, it is likely that some migrants will slip in. Even worrying is the fear that terrorists may mingle with genuine refugees with the terrible intention of executing their evil acts on European soil. So the PM is in a catch 22 here. He must allow genuine refugees in whilst somehow making sure migrants don’t come in. Another more subtle and dangerous possibility of hardened terrorists actually being genuine refugees, or the latter becoming hardened terrorists. There is no way to eradicate completely the threat of this materializing at some point. What happens if many of these Syrians become radicalized in our schools or in the respective mosques they attend? May some of them not be psychologically vulnerable and open to brainwashing? Arrh! WE can only hope that somehow they get to love and appreciate the Britain that open their boarders to them, though we can’t bet that some other fanatic weirdo they meet or already know may not be planting different ideas in their head. This is the catch 22 Cameron finds himself in, though he has a bigger worry ion relation to his Uni days, which is relatively silent now. That worry will not just disappear.
