The Uk Daily Mail Newspaper has been rapped by this publication for what appears to be an article promotion Stormy Daniels-the pron actress who slept with President Donald Trump. whose upcoming issue of playboy hits the stands next week. Daniels, notorious for exploiting her liaison with President Trump was glamorised in an article by the Daily Mail after she promoted herself on Instagram.
The Eye Of Media.Com has stated our objection to articles glamorising a woman like Stormy Daniels who earns her living in the porn industry. The Mail’s article explicitly featured saucy pictures of Daniels obtained from her instagram, suggesting that the writer had purposely gone to her instagram page for updates on Daniels, or was contacted by Daniel’s agent to promote her. Whatever the case, it does not serve a purpose in the best interest of society.
A segment of the Daily Mail Online article article read: ”Adult film star and alleged one-time paramour of Donald Trump has scored a spot in the upcoming issue of Playboy that hits stands next week, dubbed the Winter 2019 Freedom of Expression issue. Daniels and Playboy actually announced the shoot on Tuesday. Daniels took to Instagram sharing a sultry shot of herself dressed in a black ensemble captioning it, ‘I am beyond excited and honored to share this news! I am in the new issue of Playboy.’
It added: Playboy also announced its upcoming magazine which hits stands next week, by sharing a video montage of those featured. In it, a snippet of Daniels’ interview with the publication is featured.Daniels faces the camera and says: ‘You never know what someone’s true story is.’ ‘The only thing that Donald Trump has said that I agree with is there is a lot of fake news,’ she added with a laugh.
The story highlights that Trump’s personal Attorney, Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years imprisonment in part for $130,000 hush money paid to Daniels to keep quiet. However, it fails to also include that Daniels-real name Stephanie Clifford- was ordered to pay Trump $300,000 in costs for loosing her defamation case against the president. Journalism of this kind is unfortunately contrary to the kind of high standards the British public want to see.
This one article by the Daily Mail Online is in no way being said to be a reflection of the paper as a whole, which is not under scrutiny at this point. Unless the Daily Mail On line has an agenda or ulterior motive for promoting Stormy Daniels, there is no reason why further articles promoting Daniels should be conducted. The Daily Mail On Line has been contacted for comment via mail, as they have no direct number to get through to them. We await their response.
