CINEMAS TO BE PATROLLED BY SPECIAL SECURITY NEXT MONTH AS EPIC 007 BLOCKBUSTER IS RELEASED

BY ERIC KING

Cinemas around America and the UK will be on particular alert next month when the new James bond film goes out. Security will be beefed up as staff in military style night googles patrol cinemas in a bid to crack down on pirating by online crooks who may be trying to illegally make some money on the highly anticipated film. The 007 blockbuster film, directed by Sam Mendes is expected to be a huge box office hit when it reaches the Cinemas next month, and dark auditoriums will be patrolled to ensure everyone is behaving.

Pirates are known to hide devices in holes pierced into popcorn cartons as well as covering their phones with socks, but all that will be made difficult by sweeps conducted with night vision glasses. 007 has for years been a hit with youngsters because of the action packed depiction of James Bond who epitomizes the idealized notion of the fulfilled man with good looks and plenty of beautiful women at his beck and call. He is a stunt man, a good fighter, and everything interesting.

Next month’s highly anticipated James Bond epic will be starred by Daniel Craig, an English actor, who trained at the National youth theatre and graduated from the Guildhall school of Music and Drama in 1991,in what will be his 24th silver screen acting. He is deemed the booziest James Bond because of the amount of booze he has downed on screen, and already is set to boost sales for Vodka. Health experts warn us that too much booze is bad for the liver, so our hero will be a bad role model for youths in this respect as he inadvertently portrays booze and womanising as an admirable thing for impressionable kids and teenagers. Notwithstanding, acting serves most to wet the appetite of viewers, particularly adult viewers, and therefore cannot always be apologetic for some of the downsides that go with it. After all, it can be well argued that there is enough influence from society on people to drink and it is always up to individuals how much they drink. The 47 year old budding actor also contributed a lot to the script writing of 007,so plenty of kudos tour man! A good looking man, he was surely not short of offers from women to play the role of one of his many lovers, and he sure must have had a field’s day acting out all those romantic episodes. The rehearsals must have been great and enjoyable for him, and I bet real life is even more fun.

James Bond was first written in 1953 by Ian Flemming who based the theme of the globally acclaimed film on his experience on the Naval intelligence during World War 11. He once said that James Bond was ”a compound of all secret agents and comrado types during the war”. Seven other authors have since written authorized bond novels though it is the animated films that have generally captured the imagination of the public over the years. 007 is the 3rd highest grossing film series to date, and has always been a winner with the world wide public.

Kieron Sharp, director general of the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT), which tackles piracy, said in a press release that staff kitted out in night-vision goggles will be patrolling cinemas to catch anyone trying to make illegal recordings.

“The bigger the film and the more anticipated it is, the higher risk it is. We have staff on extra alert for that, he stated.
“James Bond is a big risk and we will be working with cinema operators and the distributors making sure we will keep that as tight as possible. We really don’t want to see that recorded.
“They are on alert, particularly with the bigger films like James Bond, to really drill down to who is in the auditorium and who might possibly be recording.
“They still do the sweeps around the auditoriums with the night vision glasses regardless of the film. But sometimes extra security is put in place for things like Bond.”
