Champion Wilder Ends Long Court Battle With Baby Mother

WBC heavyweight  boxing champion, Deontey Wilder has reached an agreement with his estranged baby mother, Helen Duncan, after almost a decade of an absorbing court battle over financial disbursements for the child’s maintenance.

The court battle has somehow eluded the attention of the  general mainstream media, but The Eye Of Media.Com has obtained detailed court documents about the friction that has tainted the joy of both the world’s heavyweight king, and the first woman with whom he has a child.

Representatives of the pair appeared at the county Court Of Pickens County Alabama on Friday and reached an agreement , hopefully ending years of legal fighting .

Duncan accused Wilder, 34, worth an estimated $30m, of failing to adequately providing financial support for their disabled child- 17 year old Naieya who suffers from spina bifidia, but whose condition has improved over the years.

Duncan who hired John Fisher’s legal firm based in Tuscaloosa Alabama for over 6 years, suddenly changed legal firms, switching to Patricia Blakenship  when she concluded the experienced attorney was not moving fast enough.  Fisher had brought a number of cases before the courts in the past without advance payments to help his client.

Wilder insists he has always been supportive of his daughter but strongly resents the child’s mother, Helen Duncan , against whom he feels strongly aggrieved.

Wilder, has always highlighted the disabled child as his greatest motivation to taking up boxing. However, the level of the strained relationship between the world champion and the child’s mother has been a thorn in all their sides.

Facebook messages between Wilder and his baby mother seen by this publication reveal hard feelings between the Alabama fighter and the mother of his daughter, with the world champion telling her point blank how he feels about her ways.

Wilder’s boxing representatives said the explosive hitting world champion is a good father , pointing out how the fall out between the once romantic couple is typical of many such relationships where the parents of a child are separated.

One of the world champion’s representative’s said : ” In America, it’s what we call baby mama drama”. Wilder’s lawyer-Paul Patterson- said to be one of America’s best Attorney’s declined to talk to this publication about the legal feud between the pair, hopefully brought to conclusion on Friday.

DESPERATE

Duncan has for the past few years taken Wilder to court in a desperate quest to force him to pay a monthly child support of $1,900 in compliance with Rule 32 of the Alabama judicial administration. However, the dynamite world champion says his estranged girlfriend, Duncan, has in the past lavished herself with money intended to be used for the child’s welfare.  This, he says, has on occasions influenced the world champion’s decision to withhold cash from

Duncan  disputes his claims. She told The Eye Of Media.Com that money the world champion had paid her in the past had been used for important bills. I used that money to pay by attorney fees,  bills, medical expenses and baby sitting for my daughter, and my rent because I lives in a 900.00 apartment ”Because of .Deontay I had to move and buy a new car so that money went to those expense and the rest went into my daughter’s bank account. Everything I spend for Naieya comes from that money and the child support he pays, she said.

Court documents show that in 2018, the world heavyweight boxer paid $14,800 to Duncan in child support after a tasking legal battle.

TRAINING
Wilder, who spends a lot of time training, and is also a hit with the ladies, has on occasions left Naieya with his ex wife Jessica at the child’s request after spending time with his daughter and heading to training . Naieya has a good relationship with Jessica and court documents seen by this publication indicates that Duncan has never objected to Jessica having the child. However, Duncan on one occasion arrived at Jessica’s property escorted by police, to forcefully remove Naieya from her property. Wilder sued for contempt of court.

Aggrieved Duncan alleged that the athletic world champion has multiple girlfriends who distract him from executing his duties. Angry Duncan also said in court documents that her daughter has had to endure harassment, ridicule and threats because of the defendant’s public status. Individuals seeking to obtain information about the world champion have apparently broken into her mother’s car too, over her connection with the boxing star.

Wilder is reported to have three houses and a number of top of the range cars. The American is
unbeaten in 42fights with 40 Ko’s coming inside the distance. He is scheduled to fight Luis Ortiz on November 23rd in a rematch after he stopped him in the 10th round in 2018.
