CENTRAL LONDON IN PANIC OVER OBAMA SPECIALIST AIRCRAFTS

BY ERIC KING

Central London was in panic today, as Obama specialist aircrafts hovered over key parts of the capital. V-22 Ospreys worth an estimated £50 million each,  roared their over the River Thames.

Speculation was acute that the capital was under attack , as the two Ospreys were led by a US Boeing Apache helicopter at around 11.15am this morning. The aircraft, a cross between a plane and a helicopter circled London Bridge before moving  east down the river over Tower Bridge.

The flights are believed to be part of a training exercise for British SAS fighters, as USAF pilots are believed to be training them in the use of the specialist aircraft which has guns in the nose and rear ramp. Coming a day after malicious posts by jihadists claiming individual that London was the next terrorist target, sparked fears that a terrorist attack was in operation, though those alarms were false.

Central London residents took to twitter to express their shock and fears, though this was just a military training operation, preparing for the heightened alert of an imminent terrorist attack in the capital. Britain has been on heightened alert since the Brussels attacks, though our security is one of the best in the world. Awareness of terrorism is now a part of our life, though it is pointless being afraid of something we cannot change. Tat should be left to the government and security force to do their best to intercept all acts of terrorism, and so far the British security forces have done an excellent job.

FOILED

Several attempts on the UK have been foiled in the past few years, testament to the brilliance of our security system but also a reminder of the reality of the threat facing us. The threat is unlikely to ever go away completely, but all we can do is be as vigilant as possible and not be moved by threats from extremist groups intent on waging an endless war on innocent members of the public. The 7/7 terrorists attacks of 2007 were awful for the country, but there hasn’t been one since then in the U.K. there is no doubt, terrorists are still trying as they have used our prisons and education institutions as a breeding ground for more recruits. However, our security agents pretty much are on top of them, monitoring closely phone and computer communications between groups like this.

It must be frightening  when operations like these happen with any foreknowledge of the public, but a shock absorbing system is what we need to manage these unanticipated training operations authorised by the British government. The panic in central was eventually diffused as knowledge of the military operation became clear.
