Police have released a CCTV footage of three men seen running away after a 20-year-old was shot dead are being sought by police.
Jordan Bari was shot in the stomach at 8.45pm last Monday (October 3) after he opened the door at an address in Florida Street, Bethnal Green.
Mr Bari, from Stratford, had been found with fatal gunshot wounds 40 minutes earlier. Efforts by the London Ambulance Service to revive him failed, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they want to speak to three men who were seen running away from the scene of the shooting towards Derbyshire Street and into Brady Street. Police said the CCTV footage show the men passing something between them as they made their get away, but it is unclear why suspected perpetrators of such an evil crime would wait 40 minutes before passing a suspicious item between them. What could this suspicious item be, and why would a member of the suspected gang want to hold potentially incriminating evidence on their person if somebody else already has the incriminating object with them?
It also remains unclear is why police are connecting the three men seen running away on foot, to a murder that occurred 40 mins earlier, and why the men would still be running nearly three quarters of an hour later. A met police spokesman spoken to by the eye of media was unable to answer these curious questions, but promised to get back to us once they make further enquiries. Two hours later, we had received no response, but the Met Police spokesperson at the time, told the eye of media.com “Jordan was shot dead as he answered the front door. We are appealing for help as we have found no clear motives for this attack”.
The men may have escaped in a get away car and got off at a distance away from the crime scene. Only one reason springs to mind why perpetrators of a murder would still be running 40 minutes alter, and that is the sound of police siren cars at any distance from them. There are no clear facts at the moment except that a man was murdered, and three potential suspects were seen running away nearly three quarters of an hour later.
The three men visible in the CCTV will be recognizable to those who know them. Two cars are seen driving close to the vicinity of the three men, as the latter look around suspiciously. They could potentially have been running away for other reasons, but the manner of their run seems to be motivated by some sort of guilty conscience. Who are they, and what do they know about the murder of young Mr.Bari? The met police also need not tell the eye of media.com the occupation of the dead man at the time of the shooting, though detectives do keep some information private during investigations.
However, such details may trigger ideas in the minds of the public who may recognise one or all of the three men, but need that last piece of information that would connect them to the murder victim in the minds of those who know them. The killing was evidently pre-meditated , and if any of the three men caught and camera was involved, it seems likely they will be caught.
