The British press have failed to condemn Roy Larner’s racist rant caught on film, after being exposed in a racist tirade. Roy Larner, dubbed the heroic “lion of London Bridge” was caught on camera launching a racist tirade at a group of protesters. The footage was made public months after his racist tirade back in February.
He shouted foreigners, c**t,” Mr Larner shouts at the protesters. “Foreign c**ts. F*** off. F*** off you rapist c**ts.
“W*nkers, people like you stink like sh*t,” he says as the video comes to a close.
One of the protestors walks up to Mr Larner and appeared to headbutt him, causing Mr Larner to retreat. He can be heard repeatedly shouting “National Front” pointing to himself as he does this. All the mainstream press that covered the story descriptively communicated what occurred, but fell short of criticizing the Millwall idiot who demonstrated low intelligence by swearing so freely in front of the cameras.
The British press should have been more critical of Larner’s racism by overtly reprimanding his behaviour. This shortcoming has been brought to the attention of most of the British press by the eye of media.com so that they can be conscious of the need to go beyond descriptive reporting in incidences of racism like this. Racism is unacceptable in British society, and every opportunity must be seized to unreservedly rebuke acts of racism whenever it rears it’s ugly head.
Surprisingly, Britain’s best selling newspaper, The Sun, actually omitted quotes of him calling the group ”Foreign cxxx and rapist cxxxx. However, his apology which was featured fell short of acknowledging his stupidity and ignorant rhetoric.
HERO
Roy Larner was hailed as a hero in the wake of the London Bridge terror attack, after shouting “f*** you I’m Millwall” as he took on the three attackers with his bare hands. His bravery was so admired that the stupidity of him making reference to Millwall when faced with dangerous terrorists was understandably overlooked. Supporters raised more than £50,000 to get the unemployed Londoner back on his feet. However, following his claims to be part of the National front who believes that minorities are rapists because of the colour of their skin
VAIN
The racist thugs mother has since attempted in vain to excuse his behaviour. She said that the protesters had said something about the dogs he was walking and that he was standing up to them in response.”They said something to Roy about the dogs, when he was taking them for a walk,” she said. “These blokes, about four or five of them said something to Roy and he turned round and you know, he’ll stand up to anyone.”I don’t know what they said to him, I was in a hurry and we were not really talking at the time.”He was taking the dogs for a walk and was on his way back to his girlfriend’s, he gave them a mouthful.
She should have found out what they allegedly said to him before coming to give an uninformed view that could question the quality of her parenting on he son.
