By Eric King- Britain's worst tenant from hell has eventually been forced out by the prospects of bailiffs. 48 year old Christian Nwala- whose immigration papers are currently with the home office- was finally forced to leave the property in Plumstead where he gave his landlady hell. Nwala was convicted in February for assaulting his landlady, whose identity we have protected ever since our coverage of his nuisance at the property in Plumstead Commons, South London. The conniving criminal lived at the property free for 14 months and assaulted his la landlady, damaging her eye socket after a confrontation in which she pursued him for rent arrears. Attempts to evict him through the courts initially failed after he claimed not to have received a notification from the landlady. He claimed the woman was conducting a revenge eviction, forcing judges to delay his eviction whilst a date was set to examine those facts. The violent man then contacted Greenwich Council, asking them to order the woman to conduct repairs at the property for damages, she says he caused. Nwala left the property on Saturday evening to avoid the shame of being literally forced out by bailiffs who turned up today to change the locks. However, the landlady says he left the house with far more damage than he initially caused at the property.Damaged Walls Plumstead MP, Clive Efford, was forced to intervene in the hot drama between the lady and Greenwich Council. Once brought to the attention of The Eye Of Media.Com, we told the Council they were wrong to order an assaulted landlord to conduct repairs for a man whose tenancy had expired, and who had not paid rent for 14 months, on top of the fact he assaulted her. The situation is still being assessed by some of our team in conjunction with lawyers, with a view to holding bosses to account at Greenwich's environmental health department.
