By Tony O’Reilly-

Home Secretary Suella Braverman is to impose a new law which enables the deportation of illegal migrants and bans them from claiming asylum could be introduced by the home secretary as she unveils plans for another “crack down” on Channel crossings.

In her first major speech to the Conservative Party conference, Suella Braverman will announce proposals for legislation that will go further than the Nationality and Borders Act.

Braverman, in her speech to the Conservative Party conference, will set out proposals for a bill on illegal immigration that goes further than existing legislation, the report said, adding that the law is designed to create a blanket ban on anyone who enters the UK illegally, including by small boat across the Channel, from claiming refuge.

At the event in Birmingham, she will outline how to make “use of the powers” in the current legislation and pledge to “use every tool” at the government’s disposal to stop illegal migrants from crossing the Channel.

Under the Nationality and Borders Act, which was introduced in June by former home secretary Priti Patel, people entering the UK illegally or overstaying a visa face up to four years in prison.

However, Ms Braverman intends to “commit to looking at new legislative powers” to allow the government to ban anyone who comes to the country illegally.

It comes as almost 33,000 people have arrived in the UK by completing the journey so far this year, including 7,767 in September alone.

The Home Secretary is determined to ensure the removal of incentives for migrants to cross the channel, while leaving the door open to people who are “genuine asylum seekers” will be settled in the country, she will also set out her intention to “remove the incentive” for migrants to cross the Channel.

Ms Brauverman who herself is a benficiary of flexible immigration laws in the Uk which saw  her father settle in Britain from Kenya wants to put a lid on Britain’s porous immigration laws.  She is a strong legal brain and believed to have thrpughly analysed the law she plans to being into action.

Braverman will make reference to the hundreds of thousands of people who have been assisted by Britain over the years fleeing Syria, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, and Ukraine.
