Birmingham Thugs Jailed For Attempting To Steal Cash Machine

By Eric King-

A gang of  Birmingham thugs have been jailed for a total of 10 years after a foiled attempt to steal a cash machine containing a substantial sum of cash.

The thugs who  were wearing balaclavas at the time were jailed after a hearing at Warwickshire Crown Court for attempting to steal the cash machine theft from the petrol station in Haunchwood Road, Nuneaton, on September 26. The investigation led by the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit stopped the crooks in their tracks as they planned to be loaded overnight using criminal means.

James Watters, 33, of Gossey Lane, Kitt’s Green, Jermaine Hanno, 33, of Geranium Grove, Bordesley Green, and Stephen Little, 28, of Old Farm Road, Stechford, were all sentenced to 28 months each. Their imprisonment is a reminder to thugs who hope to earn quick money through criminal means that their illegal ambitions could easily turn to time behinds bars and shame and pain for their loved ones to hear the news.
