Former Love Island contestant Amy Hart has poured out her heart about how Caroline Flack helped her deal with trolls and abuse online.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, the 26-year-old told presenters Adil Ray and Kate Garraway paid tributes to late Caroline Flack by recounting her kindness.
“She was amazing from putting us all at ease from the first day.” She said. “In the breaks between filming, she was like, “You alright girls? You alright? You alright?”
After Amy left the villa, she also recalled how Caroline helped her out following her break up with fellow Islander Curtis Pritchard. Speaking with emotion in her voice she told how kind Caroline had reached out to her own best friend when she was struggling with the reaction to Amy on social media.
“She reached out to my best friend too about how to navigate the dark world of social media,” Amy added.
“My friend posted a post about the death threats I was receiving and Caroline followed her and messaged her to say, ‘It’s fine just ignore them and move on’.”
Amy added: “I was gutted, really gutted, but obviously all my love for her friends and family.
